This project interjects private imperatives into public places. I transform social norms that one would say to a close friend or relative into museum quality vinyl lettering. I install these texts on construction walls, public bulletin boards, lunchroom walls, gathering places and thoroughfares. People are temporarily impacted by reading “Don’t Push” or “Don’t talk with food in your mouth” as they maneuver through public environments.
